I would highly recommend Derek to any family member or friend. We hired him to finish couple of projects at our home. The first was our half existing pergola. Derek was very efficient and asked us questions as to what kind of style, how wide, how long, what kind of angle. He really took into consideration our design and ideas and executed a wonderful pergola we will enjoy for years to come. The second was the backsplash for our kitchen reno. Not only did they go over and beyond with making sure the glass tile looked great but he was so clean! There was no clean up after they left. They were very respectful of our home by being careful they didn't leave grout everywhere, cleaned up their tools and ladder so it wasnt in the way when they left, they vacuumed up the floor so there wasnt debris anywhere. They even washed down my carport outside where they were cutting tile so the residue wouldn't stain! I would most definitely hire them again.

We both have to sing our praises with both the workmanship and the installer that installed our beautiful shower surround. Derek was efficient and the most hard working contractor we had encountered in our 50 years of being in our home. He was very personable and also a perfectionist. We were so happy to have had the chance to see quality work with a smile. I checked on a neighbour who had a fall and was telling her all about Derek and his work and she was so interested that she decided to have a walk in shower put in her home and needed to talk to DerekHis praises will be shared with family and friends and word of mouth is the best advertisement for any company.Well done Derek and maloff contracting

The team at maloff contracting were really incredible to deal with! They suggested ideas and inspirations that were above and beyond what we had envisioned for our house.We are just so pleased with our new house! The quality of their craftsmanship is incomparable. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and family. No doubts, 5/5 stars for them!!!

We just completed our bathroom renovation with Derek. He did an outstanding job and has so much attention to detail. He even asked us to start early and worked very full days completing the job in under two weeks. One of my parts was delayed due to my fault and he offered to come back on his lunch during another job to finish my bathroom which was very much appreciated. I also live In a condo so there are very strict renovation rules and he provided all the necessary information super quickly which was very much appreciated.

From start to finish, Derek and his team were fantastic. We needed a one-stop solution for our bathrooms and they came through in all respects. From advising us on tiles, colours and fixtures to suggestions on how to properly utilize space, we couldn't ask for better service or workmanship. The quality of the renovation was top notch. Derek and Kyle did a beautiful job of our bathroom renovation. They were so easy to work with and made the entire process enjoyable. Derek communicated with us very well and was always quick to respond to any questions. They left the work site (our home!) clean every night, and once the project was completed did a great job tidying things up and removing debris. Derek listened so well l through the whole process and ensured we stayed on budget. The quality of the work done in our home was outstanding and we could not be happier with the final results. It was great working with Derek on our deck. I don’t live in the area or in the house where the deck was built however, I maintain this home for my family. I was very fortunate to find Derek who could take my project ideas and put them into reality.
